Mayweather’s campaign is in full swing. Yesterday, Floyd told Manny Manny Pacquiao to “Step up Punk” from his Twitter account and followed with a mirrored Facebook post that received a ton of feedback from fans around the world.

Today  Floyd Mayweather Jr. tweeted to the Filipino fighter again that he’s “ready to put my belt up.”

To add emphasis to the message, Floyd attached a bird’s eye view photo of himself with his WBC welterweight title belt sitting beside him as he ends his tweet with, “What about you Manny Pacquiao?”

In spite of Top Rank General Bob Arum’s efforts to kill a May 5, 2012 super bout between Pacquiao and Floyd, Floyd is pressing forward by publicly issuing challenge after challenge to Manny.

Marquez, Cotto, Bradely and Peterson are on the shortlist Bob Arum is presenting to Pacquiao while he’s in Manila.

“We are not ducking the fight. From a business perspective we are not going to throw away an additional $30-$40 million,” said Koncz, responding to Mayweather’s initial tweet. “Be a man [Floyd] and step up to the plate. Fight at the end of May and the fight is done.”

Mayweather’s options, should Manny not step up, are most likely Saul “Canelo” Alvarez, holder of his divisions WBC Crown. Richard Schafer named the Ring Magazine #2 ranked lightweight Roberto Guerrero who is a five-belt winner over the course of three divisions.

Leonard Ellerbe, CEO of Mayweather Promotions, told Kevin Iole of Yahoo!Sports that Mayweather’s next opponent should be announced “toward the end of the week.”

But Mayweather still wants Pacquiao.

“‘I’m ready to put my belt up,” wrote Mayweather in his latest tweet. “What about you Manny Pacquiao? Let’s make history.”
