This list is pretty cool with a few exceptions. Although the general consensus is that Manny Pacquiao is the #2 P4P behind Money May I can't place him that high after his performance against Juan Man. Anyone with eyes to see with know that Pacman makes a lot of mistakes in the ring. Without weight draining fighters or fighting fighters with no movement he is energetic sparring partner. Pacman is more of a beneficiary of natural selection than natural abilities. B-Hop has no business on this list at all. His position should be occupied by Bad Chad. How do you beat both Tarver and B-Hop twice and not make the list? Vitali Klitschko should not only be on the list but also placed higher than his brother. A robbery against Lennox Lewis and a shoulder injury are his only two losses? He's definitely the better of the Klitschkos. Too bad they won't fight each other. Thanks mom. Sergio Martinez should rank lower as well. He's afraid of S.O.G. That should be his next fight. Sergio wants to fight Mayweather? It's all about the Benjamins baby! And as far as Broner becoming the newest member to this list? Not so soon. In all honesty he needs to square off with Gary Russell Jr. Not now, but right now. Everyone is crowning The Problem as the next Mayweather. I see him as the next Roy Jones Jr. Someone who will run through busters like soldiers through a Cambodian whorehouse but will catch hell with sound and solid boxers. And just like Roy Jones with Tarver I think Broner will keep moving up in weight and avoiding Russell for as long as he can. Well Roy fought once at heavyweight but that's because it was too dangerous to stay there. With Tyson, Tua, and Holyfield in the wing he had to see the exit. Broner won't have that problem. There are more weight classes he can fight at than Captain Hook. Other than that I'm enjoying the site. Just wish there were more activity here, but I'm liking what I'm seeing so far.

Welcome to Boxing Fury Fellas! It's a pleasure to have you on the site.
I wouldn't be so hasty in believing Canelo will not be fighting Floyd later this year. Before the fight, Oscar did say Canelo was not ready for Floyd. After the fight, during the press conference, Oscar was signing a different tune. He walked up to the podium and clearly stated Canelo is ready for the big names- all big names, including Mayweather and Pacquiao.
Put your promoter caps on fellas. There's a reason Canelo was put on the Mayweather undercard and there was a reason Canelo was facing future hall of famer Shane Mosley who is now playing division gatekeeper. The reason is, showcase Canelo to the Mayweather fan base. You hope he punishes Mosley so that you have enough b-roll footage to back up your claim that he's dangerous. Canelo provided enough highlights to make that happen.
Regardless of Shane's age, the "general public, ie, the casual boxing fan, will eat it up.
Great comments fellas!

I hear you on all of that! I was shocked when Margarito beat Cotto and busted up his face. I knew something was wrong in that fight but had no idea it was the hand wraps. I thought maybe Margarito was on the juice. Going into that fight with Pacquiao I knew it wouldn't get any better because Cotto had problems making 147 in his previous fights but chose to stay at that weight. Plus coming off of his first lost to fight Pacquiao I think wasn't the smartest move. But hey, when them dollar signs get thrown your way out goes reasoning right?

My thing is now what? First for Cotto who will he fight next? Oscar already said that he won't let Canelo fight Floyd just yet but what about Cotto? Or should Cotto fight Martinez? And if so at what weight? Martinez has shown some interest in fighting Floyd at 154. Cotto will be a good measuring stick to see if he's ready for that. Other than those two names the only other viable option for Cotto in my opinion is the winner of the Berto/Ortiz fight. Berto has fought at jr. middle weight before and I don't see Ortiz having a problem making the weight either.

As for Mayweather? 87 days and some change later hopefully he can make the fight with Bradley and start training for and promoting it as well. Yes, I'm from the same school of thought that believes Bradley will "shock the world" and beat Pacquiao. Will he get the decision is the $64,000 question? Bradley and Pacquiao are both Top Rank fighters, but it all depends on who they believe will be the better money maker and future of the brand.

My guess is that there will be a changing of the guard on June 9th. The thing is will Bradley stay with Top Rank afterwards and if so will Arum put him in the ring with Mayweather? I highly doubt it. If I were a betting man I'd put my money on Arum making a trilogy between Pacquiao and Bradley. Bradley beats Pacquiao but loses a vert controversial decision. Arum flashes the numbers that the rematch will make to Bradley, Bradley goes along with the plan. Hopefully I'm wrong. But then again hopefully I'm all the way wrong and Manny wins. I want Mayweather to be the one who smokes Pacquiao.

Very well said Pretty Tony. I'm a huge Cotto fan and I have been watching him since he turned pro. I've watched his progress and always thought that he was a better boxer than most people gave him credit for. He's as tough as they come in my opinion. Most guys would have given up after that Margarito fight and certainly after the loss to Pac. (Which I still believe would have been different had Pac come up to 154 instead of a catch weight.) He's been in some great wars long before his fight with A.M Anyway, Cotto has a lot of heart and you will always see him give his all.

Here's what people don't understand - Floyd beat Cotto at his own game! If anyone would have told you before that fight Floyd fight to Cotto's strengths, you wouldn't have believed it! I think Floyd's athleticism is great but his knowledge and defense is even greater. He was pretty much in control the entire fight and at any time he could flip the switch and go to his style but he chose to stick it out through most of the fight until the final round. He was hitting Cotto at will pretty much and even buckled his knees with that uppercut.

I don't believe that Floyd is slowing down unlike Pac. He has not looked sharp as of late and I think we'll see further evidence of that when he fights Bradley. I expect Bradley to shock the world so to speak with a performance that will make him a household name. Congrats to Floyd on his victory and also to Cotto as well for putting on a great fight and showing that they are both ring kings.

(Ochocinco voice) Chile please! Mayweather could have sniped Cotto all night long. If you noticed in that last round that was the only time in the entire fight did we see Mayweather fight his style of fight but staying out of harms way and picking Cotto apart. He stayed in front of Cotto purposely, beating him at his own game. Let's give Money May credit for that. Furthermore if the gloves were 8's instead of 10's then maybe Floyd would have been able to put Cotto away early. You saw Cotto buckle a few times after shots by Mayweather in the later rounds. Then again if they fought with 8's Money might have stuck to his usual and out boxed Cotto from start to finish. To me it was very telling that afterward Cotto went straight back to the dressing room after the fight. He knew Mayweather went toe-to-toe with him and beat him. To a proud Puerto Rican that hurt. However I gotta give it up to Cotto for being a man and saying that Mayweather was just the better man, which he was. Now May has a good 3 months to heal up and contemplate his next move. And that right there is the reason I believe he went toe-to-toe with Cotto. He knows he has nothing on the agenda but doing his time. No trying to get back into the gym. Just spending these last days with the short necks and that fine ass Miss Jackson (if you nasty). This is my first time to the site. Love the look and feel of it, very professional. Keep up the good work.

If the Paquiao fight doesnt happen. I think Mayweather will retire. Theres no one in his league right now and he cant afford to jump to fight Martinez in his weight class.
